PopCorn Time Now Delivering PopCorn

PopCorn Time’s evolution continues.

A popular fork of the original software announced today the next big move for the so-called Netflix for pirated content. After the addition of series such as Game of Thrones and the launch of an Android app, Time4RealPopCorn is now planning to deliver popcorn directly through the new revamped version of the software. Details on how this will be done are still blurry but the app could leverage an API coming from the NCGA, the National Corn Growers Association, according to last GitHub threads.

This is really bad news for big players in the popcorn industry such as Orville Redenbacher’s whose consumers might switch to the new free alternative for their late night snacks. ‘The nightmare of Hollywood might become the nightmare of Omaha’ commented Conan O’Brien trying to grab a handful of PopCorn Time’s first popcorn batch (already available in beta version).
